This English class helps me completely transform from a person who had no idea about academic writing to a person who have grasped the critical strategies to write proficiently With the formal assignments, there were formal assignment 1 FA1poster presentation, formal assignment 2 FA2 and group presentation I knew before the term started that my work is better when I spend more time on it, but this class has helped prove it to me.
I believe that rewriting is a vital step of writing an essay, story, or anything that you are putting together. Amongst them are the following: chronological - from the present year, from college, from high-school, etc. These levels of construction form direct parallels to the intro, body paragraphs, and conclusions of an essay I love to use big words and give my readers very detailed descriptions, in hopes that they will be able to picture what I am saying.
I can see the difference when I sit down to write that I stop and think more about what I am saying. I open it up and glance through a collection of focused thoughts that document a growing and stretching in my thoughts about the teaching of writing.
In my writing portfolio for this quarter I had to write an autobiography essay, a research essay, and this reflection essay to develop my writing skills better. The in class activities and assignments helped me learn how to become a better writer. I 've learned many important skills while taking this class to better my writing and how to make it more effective
